Virtual Communities was conceived with the vision to bring the commercial and social advantages of the Internet and online communities to all Australians through affordable access to key technology enablers like PCs and the Internet.

Through alliances with the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU), Catholic Telecommunications, Australian Industry Superfunds and various social, business and community groups, Virtual Communities provides computer and Internet access, support, training and finance to Australians who were previously unable to join the online world. Offering these computer and Internet packages through our affinity group partners to their members, Virtual Communities enables organisations to better communicate, as well as provide an opportunity to enter the Information Age.
